3000 Watt Step Down Converter for Fuel Cells

A micro based design is available.
It is a step down converter with an input range of 18 to 63vdc.
It is offered on a subpanel with a very large three terminal power connector.

Below are some advantages of using this unit over some older models:

1) The new product has interlacing. That means the ripple current and voltage in and out are smaller. At a 2:1 voltage reduction the ripple is zero.

2) The new one is more efficient, smaller, lighter and is less expensive.

3) It is prewired over the loose parts.

4) The current limit input is easier to implement. The old one requires up to 13ma sink current. The new one is a negligible source current.

5) The new one has 16 internal signals that can be brought out to Atopin6.

6) The number of power connections is reduced from 10 to 3.
