CHXXXX-SU Step Up DC/DC Converters

Using Boost Converter Topology, and programmable single direction or bi-directional current, these products can be used as current regulators or voltage regulators or current limiters or voltage limiters. Applications are Battery Chargers, Lamp Regulators, UPS Power Supplies, and Fuel Cell Converters.

(1) The output voltage can be fixed, or is adjustable within the range shown.
(2) The input voltage must be 2 volts less than the output voltage.
(3) The maximum output current is limited and must be calculated:
Iout(max)=(Ein*Iin(max)*.95)/Eout. Example: Using a CH6090-SU for a
12 to 24 volt conversion. (12)*(36)*.95/24 = 17.1 amps = Iout(max)
(4) 2 to 1 step up, Output 'voltage is 80% of maximum output.
