DCDC12/48/800/OP Step Up DC/DC Converter With Optimizer. |

English: Wind passing thru a windmill is used to charge a battery. Wind energy is used to charge a battery. Battery Energy is used to power a load. The load can be anything, like lights, a water pump, a propeller, a refrigerator, or a heater. Each Windmill can be different. If each Windmill has it's own optimizer, the power rating and the voltage rating can be different for each Windmill. One Windmill can be disabled and it won't detract from the operation of the other Windmills. The total current charging the battery depends on the wind. At low winds, the current, and the power is low. The most power is always delivered to the battery. |

Technical: Each Windmill can be different. To date we only have tried one.
One can be rated at 300 watts, 12vdc. Another can be rated at 800 watts, 50vdc. Each Windmill has its own DCDC12/48/800/OP. The Windmill Voltage must be less than the charging voltage of the battery. The battery voltage is nominally 48vdc. The DCDC12/48/800/OP can be used for Solar Panels too. If two Solar panels are connected in series, and each one is rated at 250 watts, the total maximum power is 500 watts. |
